Throughout his Formula 1 career, Daniel Ricciardo has been a popular figure at the Australian Grand Prix.

After several months away from the grid, the Perth-born driver is back racing and will represent RB at Albert Park this month.

Daniel Ricciardo's last Australian Grand Prix

It was a nice return to Melbourne for Daniel Ricciardo at the 2022 Australian Grand Prix, finishing in a respectable sixth position. 

This was his first start at Albert Park as a McLaren driver, with the 2021 edition of the race cancelled due to COVID-19.

The Australian qualified in seventh position and drove a steady race in front of his home fans.

Albert Park hasn't always been kind to Daniel Ricciardo, but he has finished fourth twice.

He achieved this with Red Bull in 2016 and 2018.

As far as qualifying goes, he managed to nab second on the grid in 2014, again with Red Bull.
