Driving the Diablo SVR - Lamborghini's First Factory Race Car! - TheSmokingTire
What's it like to drive Lamborghini's first ever factory race car? That's the question we set out to answer in today's video! Thanks to Curated and The Concours Club, a private club race track in Miami, we get the chance of a lifetime to sample an incredibly rare piece of Lamborghini history! The Diablo SVR was a track-focused version of the lightweight, rear--drive Diablo SV, built for a spec racing series mirroring Ferrari Challenge. While the series has, over 30 years, morphed into SuperTrofeo, it's wild to imagine going wheel-to-wheel in these beasts! Thanks to Curated for letting us try their car and The Concours Club for a safe environment to do it! Has Porsche Ruined the New 911?
Sell your car for free with Carwow: https://bit.ly/Sell-Your-Car-For-Free-0907 Mat has got his hands on the all-new 992.2 generation Porsche 911! He’s flown over to Spain to put the all-new 911 through its paces, and while it may only be a mid-life facelift, there are a handful of updates which will set it apart from its predecessors. For starters, this is the first Porsche 911 to come with hybrid technology included! It may only feature in the GTS T-hybrid edition for now, but it easily delivers a serious performance punch for this new sports car! It’s equipped with a 3.6-litre flat-six turbo that can put down 541hp and 570Nm - 61hp & 40Nm more than its predecessor! As for how the hybrid system works? Well, you’ll need to stick with Mat to see for yourself! In terms of other changes, the exterior is relatively similar to the previous car. The indicators are now integrated into the headlights, and there are fins within the front bumper that can open and close to allow for better airflow for cooling. The side profile is pretty much identical to the previous edition, while at the back you’ll find centrally mounted exhaust pipes, along with a redesigned light bar. Step inside and the interior is classic Porsche, although there’s one big change - the driver's display is now fully digital! It’s the first time the 911 doesn’t have an analogue rev counter, but it’s not all bad - there are loads of displays to choose from, and the positioning of the display means the steering wheel shouldn’t block your view. Here’s the thing though - it doesn’t come cheap! If you want to pick up the hybrid edition of the GTS, expect to spend £139,000! And that’s before you’ve added any options! So is it worth it? Sell your car for free with Carwow: https://bit.ly/Sell-Your-Car-For-Free-2907 If you’re in the market for a large, premium & German SUV, which should you choose - the Porsche Cayenne, BMW X5, Mercedes GLE, Audi Q7 or Volkswagen Touareg? Well, we’ve pulled all five together, and Mat’s going to compare all five against each other to see which is the best buy in 2024! So let’s see how the five compare regarding performance & price. Starting with the Porsche, the edition we have here is the Cayenne e-hybrid. It’s powered by a 3-litre turbo V6 coupled with an electric motor, and this can deliver 470hp and 650Nm of torque. The range starts at £76,000, but the car we have here costs around £102,000. The VW Touareg also houses the same engine and motor. However, it’s down on power compared to the Porsche, producing 462hp and 700Nm. The range starts at £69,000, but this edition costs £89,000. The next most powerful car here is the Mercedes GLE. It’s powered by a 3-litre straight-six turbo diesel as well as an electric motor. These combine to put down 389hp and 750Nm of torque. The GLE range costs from around £77,000, while the car we have here costs around £92,000. Next up is the all-new BMW X5. It’s hiding a 3-litre straight-six turbo diesel under the bonnet, and this puts down 298hp and 670Nm. The entry-level X5 costs from £70,600, but the car we have here is the second most expensive of the five, costing around £94,000. Then finally we have the Audi Q7. This edition comes with a 3-litre V6 turbo diesel under the bonnet, and this puts down 286hp and 600Nm. The entry-level Q7 is the cheapest car of the five here, costing around £65,000, while the car we have here costs £87,000. But which of the five is the best car for you? 2025 Audi RS3 Upgrade: What You Need to Know
Audi Sport has heightened the senses of the RS 3 With the upgrade, the compact top model, which represents maximum performance, will become even sportier. This is visible at first glance: The strong lines at the front, the wheels in motorsport design, and the RS bucket seats visually enhance the dynamics, acoustically underscored by the deep-throated roar of the five-cylinder engine with its signature firing sequence. The 2.5 TFSI, combined with the optimized chassis setup and new tires, propels the RS 3 around corners even more spirited. The new lap record on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife confirms this. Drivers can feel the increased driving dynamics and the high-quality materials, which exude the highest quality and make the Audi RS 3 an experience for the senses. RS displays with focus on performance The 12.3-inch Audi virtual cockpit plus with Sport, Performance, and Runway views was already standard. In Runway mode, speed is visualized in reverse order, with the highest revs in the foreground and idling speed in the background. These features are now joined by the new rev counter, which prominently displays the revolutions per minute in the center of the instrument cluster. In addition, there are displays for power output, torque, g-forces, acceleration, and lap times. In manual transmission mode, the RS-specific blinking shift indicator changes the rpm display from green to yellow to red, motorsports-style, to indicate the ideal time to change gears. On top of this, the temperature ranges of coolant, torque splitter, brakes, engine oil and transmission oil are shown in color on the 10.1-inch touch display in the instrument panel. Optionally, tire pressures can also be displayed. Furthermore, the RS 31, 2 now features an app store with many applications that can be used directly on the vehicle display. The selected contents are installed on the RS 31, 2 infotainment system – independently of the smartphone. HEARING: five-cylinder engine with more distinctive sound The Audi RS 3 is powered by the legendary 2.5 TFSI engine from Audi Sport with 294 kW (400 PS) and maximum torque of 500 Newton meters. This means the RS 3 (Combined fuel consumption in l/100 km: 9.5–9.1 (24.8– 25.8 US mpg); combined CO2 emissions in g/km: 217–207 (349.2–333.1 g/mi); CO2-class: G) accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and can reach a top speed of 290 km/h. Numerous motorsport successes make the award-winning five-cylinder engine one of the most evocative at Audi and make driving the RS 31, 2 an incomparable experience. In particular this is due to its unique sound, which is based on the signature 1-2-4-5-3 firing sequence. Adjacent and non-adjacent cylinders fire alternately providing a forceful rhythm and character, suitably orchestrated by the twin RS exhaust system with variable flap control. Press the red-ringed engine start/stop button, and the throaty sound of the five-cylinder engine rings out – more voluminous and even more distinctive in the Audi drive select modes dynamic, RS Performance, and RS Torque Rear. In addition, the exhaust flap control was optimized in the rpm range between 2,200 and 3,500 revolutions. In this way, the five-cylinder generates a consistent and fuller-bodied sound no matter which mode is selected. Audi Sport thus enhances the emotional driving experience in the top model of the A3 family – especially in conjunction with the optional RS Sport exhaust system. 🙏 If this video was useful to you, make a donation with the "Thanks" button or subscribe to support it: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCl5ijI4ZXN2ki7PeQajbFrA/join ⚡️ Discover ALL the new cars before anyone else! Lamborghini Revuelto Review - 0-60mph and REAL World Test!
Thanks to @Y14nny for joining us for this review! Subscribe to @yiannimize Sell your car for free with Carwow: https://bit.ly/Sell-Your-Car-With-Carwow-1807 Mat’s taken a trip to Yiannimize to review Yianni’s Lamborghini Revuelto! The Revuelto is Lambo’s all-new flagship supercar, and Mat’s about to discover whether it’s a worthy successor to the almighty Aventador. For starters, let’s check out the performance! The Revuelto rolls up powered by a 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 along with three electric motors - one on the rear axle, and two on the front. Combined, this all-new supercar produces an almighty 1,015hp and 1,062Nm of torque! It can fly to 60mph in just 2.5 seconds, and it has a crazy top speed of 218mph! Regarding the design, the Revuelto is unmistakable as a Lamborghini. Up front, it looks extremely aggressive, with huge air intakes flanking the front splitter and surrounded by huge three-piece DRLs. The side profile looks similar to the Aventador (that’s no bad thing, mind), and around the back the most prominent feature is the huge centre-placed quad tailpipes. Naturally, there’s also a massive diffuser, and the glorious V12 is left open to the elements! Naturally, though, it’s totally sealed so nothing can get in! Step inside and the interior is very similar to the Aventador. There’s a new set of digital dials that are super bright and offer a load of adjustments, while there’s also a large infotainment screen in the centre of the dash. However, while it looks smart, it’s not the best system. It also seems like Lambo has taken a leaf out of Tesla’s book, with the indicator stalk removed and replaced by buttons on the steering wheel! So the Revuelto looks and sounds incredible, but it doesn’t come cheap. Before you’ve added any options, it will set you back around £450,000! So is it worth it? You’ll need to stick with Mat and Yianni to see for yourself! Porsche 911 Turbo S v SLEEPER Skoda Superb: DRAG RACE
Change your car with Carwow: https://bit.ly/Change-Your-Car-0810 We’ve got our hands on a Porsche 996 911 Turbo S and it’s going up against… A Skoda Superb?! Think it sounds like an unfair match-up? Well, let’s take a closer look at the stats. Starting with the Porsche, it’s powered by a 3.6-litre twin-turbo flat-six that produces 450hp and 620Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 5-speed automatic gearbox, and the car weighs 1,630kg. When new, the 911 Turbo cost around £101,000. Then we come to the Skoda. Normally, its 2-litre 4-cylinder turbo produces 280hp and 350Nm of torque. However, this Superb has been tuned! As a result, it now puts down 477hp and 661Nm! Power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch, and it weighs slightly more than the Porsche, tipping the scales at 1,670kg. So the Skoda has more power than the Porsche, but it’s slightly heavier! So can an all-new family-friendly Skoda really take down a Porsche? There’s only one way to find out for sure… LET’S RACE! Thanks to https://www.instagram.com/herbieandspices/ for lending us their Porsche!
