Why Ferrari should not make an SUV

While driving the 2019 Maserati Levante GTS, I couldn't help but think two things. First off, companies like Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, and other companies known for making brilliant supercars shouldn't be also making SUVs. In addition, with the Maserati Levante GTS and Trofeo, there already exists an SUV with the heart of a Ferrari. In fact, the Levante GTS engine is a 3.8L twin-turbo V8 assembled at the Ferrari factory in Maranello. The 550 horse mill sends power to all four wheels through a ZF 8-speed transmission, good for 0-60 mph in just 4 seconds flat. And it's still a comfortable, quiet cruiser when you want it to act more like an SUV and less likes a sports car. Check out the video for full thoughts on "Super SUVs."
