BRM’s Supercharged V16 F1 Car Sounds INSANE | TG Tunnel Run Ft. THE STIG
*Contains flashing imagery* The Stig’s secret subterranean lair is the perfect place to make a lot of noise with a lot of noisy cars. Welcome to Top Gear Tunnel Run. In the second episode of our series, our tame racing driver welcomes the BRM P15. Why? Because under that buckled-down bonnet are SIXTEEN CYLINDERS of supercharged madness. It’s one of the most complicated engines ever made, and also one of the most terrifying. Revving to 12,000rpm, this post-war monster sounds like a flame-gargling Godzilla. Join The Stig, and host Becky Evans, to hear exactly why more cylinders means more noise… Top Gear Tunnel Run is sponsored by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority Car: BRM P15 Engine: 1.5-litre supercharged V16 Power: 600bhp Price: POA Top speed: N/A Noise: Broke the meter Subscribe to Top Gear for more videos: http://bit.ly/SubscribeToTopGear WATCH MORE TOP GEAR: First Looks: https://bit.ly/TGFirstLooks First Drives: https://bit.ly/TGFirstDrives American Tuned ft. FIRST LOOK: 2025 Corvette ZR1 – 1064hp, Turbos & 215mph!
Wow, the new Corvette ZR1 is quite something. For a start, one thousand and sixty-four horsepower is nothing short of A LOT. In fact, it’s nearly 400 more than the Corvette Z06, and higher than the likes of the Ferrari SF90 XX, let alone hybrid-assisted hypercars such as the McLaren P1, LaFerrari and Porsche 918. And yet, all that power comes from a solitary 5.5-litre, twin-turbocharged V8, with not a jot of a hybrid system in sight. Which also means the ZR1 is rear-wheel drive only – and it doesn’t take a genius to work out that’s over 500hp per back tyre… There is more to the 2025 Corvette ZR1 than just its peak power output though, so over to Top Gear’s Contributing Editor, Jethro Bovingdon, for a deep dive on how GM created a new ‘King of the Hill’… Subscribe to Top Gear for more videos: http://bit.ly/SubscribeToTopGear WATCH MORE TOP GEAR: First Looks: https://bit.ly/TGFirstLooks First Drives: https://bit.ly/TGFirstDrives American Tuned ft. THE STIG Rips Caterham 620R Through Top Secret Tunnel | Tunnel Run | Top Gear
The Stig’s secret subterranean lair is the perfect place to make a lot of noise with a lot of noisy cars. Welcome to Top Gear Tunnel Run. In the forth episode of our series, our tame racing driver welcomes what is still the quickest Caterham you can buy, and the most powerful Caterham ever built. It’s a Caterham Seven 620R, and although it was launched way back in 2013, it does 0–62 in just 2.7 seconds... in first gear. And the exhaust pokes out right under the driver, sounds like a supersonic hornet and sometimes it spits fire. Join The Stig, and host Becky Evans, to hear this little firecracker in action… Top Gear Tunnel Run is sponsored by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority Car: Caterham 620R Engine: 2.0-litre supercharged 4-cyl Power: 310bhp Price: £58,000 Top speed: 149mph Noise: 100.7dB Subscribe to Top Gear for more videos: http://bit.ly/SubscribeToTopGear WATCH MORE TOP GEAR: First Looks: https://bit.ly/TGFirstLooks First Drives: https://bit.ly/TGFirstDrives American Tuned ft.
